1. Spirit of the event
Amateur one-time community tournament. Play fair, stay friendly, and respect other teams, organizers, and people on the beach.
2. Format
- 6 or 8 teams, depending on demand. 4 players each (1 captain + 3 players).
- Mixed teams are allowed.
- Group stage: Group A and Group B.
- 8 teams → 4 per group.
- 6 teams → 3 per group.
- Top 2 teams from each group go to the knockout (semifinals, then final).
- Pairing: A1 vs B2, A2 vs B1. Winners play the final.
- All matches on a single court, one after another.
- Extra full teams go on a waiting list, in the order they complete their roster.
3. Registration
- Register on the site as a captain (create a team) or request to join an existing team.
- The captain approves join requests.
- A team is confirmed only with exactly 4 players.
- The first 6 or 8 complete teams (depending on demand) enter the bracket. Others stay on the waitlist.
- Participation fee: 30 NIS per player — 120 NIS per team.
- Payment is accepted to the team once its roster is full. A team is only counted in the tournament after the organizers mark the payment as received.
- All collected money will be used to buy prizes for the winning team.
- Minimum age: 16.
- The captain and their team are responsible for their own cheerleaders. They invite friends and acquaintances to cheer for them themselves.
- Phone sharing: when you request to join a team, the phone number you register with is sent to that team's captain. When the captain approves you, the captain's phone number is sent to you so you can arrange the participation fee.
4. Match rules
- 4 vs 4 on court.
- Rally scoring.
- Every match is one game to 18 points, win by 2, cap at 25. Same rule for group stage and knockouts.
- Net height: men's (2.43 m).
- Match balls are provided by the organizers.
- Self-refereed unless an organizer is assigned. If teams disagree, the organizer's decision is final.
5. On the day
- Check-in from 9:30. Games start at 10:00.
- Bring water, sunscreen, a towel, and shoes for sand (or play barefoot).
- A team is waited for up to 5 minutes. After that, the match is forfeited.
- Minimum 3 players to start. If only 2 remain, the match is forfeited.
6. Conduct
- No dangerous play, abuse, or harassment.
- Music, slackline and side activities must not interfere with the court.
- Follow lifeguard and municipal beach rules.
7. Weather & cancellation
- Light rain or wind: we play.
- Dangerous weather, official beach closure, or an unsafe court: delay or cancel.
- Organizers decide.
8. Liability
Players take part at their own risk. The organizers are not responsible for injury, lost items, or sun-related issues. Play only if you are fit to do so.
9. Photos & media
The event may be photographed or filmed. If you do not want to appear, tell the organizers at check-in.
10. Organizer's call
Anything not covered here is decided by the organizers on site. Their decision is final.
